Daily Health Screenings

Health and Safety Come First

All DOE employees, students, families, and visitors seeking to enter DOE buildings must complete a health screening everyday before entering any DOE facility. 


This health screening must be completed on each day of arrival and results will reset at midnight of each day. 


Upon entering our building, you will be asked to provide the results of your screening either by showing your phone or a printout of the results. 

Face Coverings during Blended Learning

The NYC Department of Education has released 

Guidance Regarding Use of Face Coverings for Students Participating in Blended Learning. Please take a look the guidelines to ensure your child is wearing an 

appropriate face covering to school everyday. 

Remote Learning Devices

Get a Device

If you need a device for your child for this school year, use the Device Request form. When you fill out the form, the DOE shares this information will be shared with us so we can work with you to ensure your child has a device for blended or remote learning this year. 

Help with a DOE-Issued iPad

If you are having trouble with connectivity on your DOE-issued iPad, please make sure you have updated the iPad according to these instructions. For technical support, you can submit a ticket online. The NYCDOE will use the contact information you provide to get in touch with you and try to solve your problem.

Google Classroom

In order to access Google Classroom, you will need a DOE Student Account. In order to create an account or update the password, please follow the directions on  the NYCDOE Student Account webpage. 

Staying Healthy during the 2020-2021 School Year

Wash your hands poster that lists the proper steps

Encourage your child to wash his/her hands frequently. It is an easy way to prevent the spread of illness. Make sure they are washing all parts of their hands and rubbing vigorously 

for at least 20 seconds before rinsing.

Follow the CDC guidelines on wearing face coverings in public. Teach your child how to wear a mask properly and allow him/her to get used to wearing a mask for 

extended periods of time.

Make sure you and your family members stay home when feeling sick. Take care of yourself, stay hydrated, and make sure you stay in touch with your doctor.

Visit the DOE's Return-to-School 2020 webpage and Class Dojo frequently to get the most updated information. Trust only reliable sources of information. Make sure you let us know if your contact information changes by messaging us on Class Dojo or emailing our Parent Coordinator Ms. Eileen at EOtero4@schools.nyc.gov.
